Rickenbacker 360/12c63

OK, found one on Ebay, and I just couldn't pass it up.

This is a 360/12c63, a recreation of the 1963 12-string model. Currently there is a 2 year wait for these from Rickenbacker. Mine was built in January 2007. Came with the cool looking silver OHSC.

Has that unmistakable Rickenbacker 12-string sound, plus it's a beautiful guitar.

I've never played a 12-string before, so it's taking some getting used to. I've been practicing on my acoustic recently, and I think that has helped. It's just going to take some dedicated playing to get comfortable with the strumming and fingering.

From rickenbacker.com: Created to exact original specifications of the world’s most popular 12-string electric guitar, the 360/12C63 is an accurate replica of the model George Harrison made so famous. Complete with double-bound body, trapeze tailpiece, and unique Rickenbacker 12-string headstock, the 360/12C63 is true to the 1963 version in every aspect— down to the shading on the Fireglo finish.
