Guitar Hero II will be released for the Xbox360
on April 3, 2007. The game features an imitation Gibson X-plorer guitar. The original Playstation 2 game featured a Gibson SG. The new game will feature over 70 songs, the songs scroll up the screen as you attempt to "play" along via the guitar plugged into the 360 via a USB port. You have to tap the strum lever and press the corresponding fret buttons as they are highlighted on the screen.
The songs get progressively harder as you go along. If you've ever played Dance Dance Revolution, this game is very similar. I've played the oroginal, and it is pretty fun, although it won't help your guitar playing.
